The White Hart is a contemporary country pub, with traditional values, situated in the proud village of Pool in Wharfedale. The transformation is spectacular as it has been returned back to its former glory as the fulcrum of village life.

Historically the White Hart acted as a clubhouse for a variety of teams and societies ranging from Angling to Cricket, and today serves as a wonderful place for villagers of and visitors to Pool to meet, eat and drink. The menu is simple but up-to-the-minute with lots of comfort appeal, with homely things like pizzas, steaks and pasta in addition to some more global dishes to keep things lively. There are also many ‘lighter’ and ‘smaller’ dishes to choose from.

Our wine list contains a wide range of New and Old world wines that suit all occasions and styles, ranging from traditional Clarets to Pink Pinot Grigio. We also stock lots of Champagnes for when you wish to celebrate a special occasion or even make an ordinary occasion special!

The bar area is a home from home. Whether you want to nestle by the fireplace and enjoy one of our award winning ales (Timothy Taylor Landlord) or you are joining a group of friends for a catch-up, The White hart is a favourite place to meet.

Opening Times

We are open Monday to Friday 12-10pm, Saturday 12-10.30pm and Sunday 12-8.30pm. We will take bookings all day and offer a full service and full menu all day
every day.
